We all have gathered today to celebrate the joyful Teachers day and to thank and praise them for their dedication and hard work. Today, the 5th of September also marks the birthday of a great professor, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. It is the Day we celebrate Teacher’s Day with fun and frolic.

On this occasion, I would like like to thank all my teachers wholeheartedly and mt class teacher for giving me this opportunity to speak before all of you. Teacher’s Day is celebrated worldwide, where students revere and wish their beloved teachers.

Today’s event includes various activities like Thanksgiving speeches, Prayer, Songs, Dance, etc. in a pattern where all students have prepared a particular small special for our teachers.

The reason for Teachers Day to exist is because Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan accepted that his birthday to be distinguished and celebrated as Teacher’s Day. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was a righteous man and an exemplary example for a teacher. Our teachers have also been the same without any demand but just showering lots of love upon us.

Since our inception in school, we have always looked up at our teachers, who treat us like their own and love us from the bottom of their hearts. They feed us valuable lessons and push us with motivation to survive through any obstacles in this world. They are our guiding spirits.

Teachers pass on knowledge with the hope that all their students will achieve good careers and success in life. We must be grateful and indebted to all our teachers for even the smallest things in our life. Teachers, you have always been our guardians, and our entertainers, too, for teaching the most boring subject in a fun and simple, understandable manner.

I still reminiscence about the Day that did not understand any of my Hindi poems. I was in grade nine, and while my entire class understood and kept reciting the poem, I was the only one struggling with the meaning. My Teacher understood it without me even having to tell her.

 

The lunch bell rang, and after the entire class left, she made me sit down and thoroughly explain and understand the complete poem. They are the ones who understand our needs in our lives without even asking. This is how great a teacher is. They sacrifice for our future endeavors.

Teachers demand nothing but just happiness and success. They teach us the hope that we will become good citizens. Thus, as students, it is our responsibility to study hard and make our teachers proud and parents proud.

Hard work is not necessarily only in our studies, but we should also carry forward the moral values that we have imbibed through our teachers to future generations. The most important things are to revere and value our incredible teachers.

In the end, I would like to thank all my teachers for the efforts, sacrifice, and hard work they have put on us so that we grow in the right path. You are guiding spirits who never let us trip over and make us realize that failure is a stepping stone to success and that we should never give up at any point in our lives.

Republic Day is not just another Indian festival. It is the day when people from all across the country celebrate the joy between people belonging to every religion, caste, and creed.

The word republic refers to the supreme power of the people living in a country. India is such a country where its citizens elect their leaders like the Prime Minister, President, etc. to lead their country in the right direction. The public has the sole right to choose their representatives. It is the fundamental right of every country’s citizens to vote and access their voting rights.

 

Republic day is celebrated in various schools all over the country. Students engage in different activities like singing, dancing, poetry, etc. to remember and pay to respect the many sacrifices made by the nation’s freedom fighters to get us freedom. Many schools also engage with various social activities like visiting the nursing homes, visiting orphanage homes, helping the poor by making donations, etc.

 

The main celebration of the republic day celebration takes place in the Rajpath in New Delhi. On this auspicious day, people from all over the country gather near the Rashtrapati Bhawan from where the procession begins. In the presence of the President, the parade starts. It’s my pleasure to walk you through the conference, introduce you to the speakers and delegates that have come from all over the country today to share their knowledge and enhance our mental horizon. Today’s conference has about 300 participants participating from more than 30 schools across Bangalore and 100 schools across India, making this conference a truly national conference in spirit.

Our inter-school conference was started in the year 2004, almost 16 years back in a time where the internet was just a luxury for many people and such conferences was the only way people could enhance their knowledge and share a difference of opinion on a common platform.

This conference has come along way since 2004 and has surpassed the various challenges that our education system has faced over the years and has adapted to the changing technological trends in the industry. From having this conference with just 50 participants back in 2004, we have come a long way in making the conference a huge success with more than 3000 participants participating in this three-day conference across hundreds of schools in India.

We are proud to announce today that the chief minister of this conference is the education minister of Karnataka himself, who will be giving a small speech in a few minutes. Every year we have a theme for this conference ranging from the environment to politics to business, music, arts and entertainment. But this year, this conference holds special value because this is the first conference in the history of our school where the entire conference is taking place on a digital platform. Due to the changing time caused by the COVID-19, we encourage our participants to stay safe and maintain social distancing as a result of which this conference will be the first of many conferences in the future that will be conducted remotely through the use of advanced technologies such as augmented reality and virtual reality.

The theme of this conference is the change in education dynamics around the world due to COVID-19 pandemic. We have experts from across the field who will be staying with us for the next three days, sharing their thoughts, knowledge and opinions with the rest of us.

Like every year, the conference hosts many events such as debates, pick and speak, public speaking, content writing and other such knowledge enhancing activities for all the school students who have signed up for the three-day event. The only difference in this conference is that the entire conference will be handled digitally and we will be walking you through all the SIPs that students need to follow to have a hassle-free and smooth event throughout the three-day conference. I would like to layout the major outcomes of this conference with respect to the theme of the conference which is the changing education dynamics in the country due to COVID-19 pandemic.

The major outcomes that we expect from this conference is a national and international framework for the changing education systems around the world and how it can be inclined with the concept of social distancing caused due to COVID-19 pandemic. We will also be talking about the global codes of conduct and best practices in the education field around world with examples of education system of Finland and South Korea. With events such as debates and public speaking, the major outcome of this conference has always been the betterment of our students, like every year, we hope students participate in such activities in a large number and make this conference successful one.

The British Government ruled over India for almost 200 years, and with the continuous struggle by the Indians led by the renowned freedom fighters, India finally gained independence on 15th August 1947. For the first time, on this day, our first prime minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, raised the Indian flag on red fort. Since that time, we all are celebrating Independence Day annually. In every government organization, schools, and colleges, everyone organizes Independence day events and related cultural programs.

India was once used to known as “Sone ki Chidiya,” which means that India was full of resources. We had productive land with an ample amount of minerals and rocks. We were known to be the home for the largest spice market. The productive human workforce was one of our strengths. All these factors made the British Government capture our country and use those resources for their benefits.

 

With the help of the “Divide and Rule policy,” they slowly gained control over the country. The Britishers easily deceived Indians and gained control. We became slaves to the British Government, and they ruled on us for a significant amount of time.

After some time, few eminent personalities like Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, and Jawaharlal Nehru prominently emerged as the leaders who inspired everybody about India’s scenario and how it is crucial to fight back for their rights. Many freedom struggles took place, and everybody actively participated in it. All those led to the fruitful result of free and independent nations.

Being Independent gives us many benefits like freedom of speech and freedom of fundamental rights. Without freedom, we would become a slave. We should always thank our freedom fighters, who fought for this country until their last breath, which gave us Independence.

But being India’s citizen, it is our responsibility to build our nation of pride by doing pure deeds like keeping the roads and surroundings clean, helping the poor people, maintaining the traffic rules. A responsible citizen is the one who values the nation.

Independence Day also shows the world about the courage and bravery which our country achieved. Our arm forces arrange a parade in the red fort displaying different fighting equipment to the world, portraying India as a superpower on the global platform. Different schools and Colleges organize cultural programs to celebrate this day.

Patriotism is the feeling above everything which every Indian should have. Our upcoming generation should know about the importance of patriotism and how they can be the main leading factor in building our nation. The school organized different essay competitions, debate competitions, sports competitions, and many other competitions.

Students from each school gave their best. I congratulate all of the students for reaching this final level, and I give my best wishes to them for the results of the award ceremony. The results will be out soon, which I will announce in this ceremony. Every student has some extraordinary quality who will make an appropriate role model in the future, despite their various interests.

But first, let me fulfill my duty for today. I want to welcome all the guests in this grand award ceremony to give appreciation and prizes to the students. I request them to inspire the students with their kind and hopeful words for the student’s prospects.

I am very honored to welcome our chief guest of the evening, who does not need any formal introduction because everybody is familiar with his achievements, developments, and improvements in the city’s infrastructural and environmental works. He is an inspiration to many. Mr. Venkat is also an amazing writer. Many of his poems on social reforms and social problems had won him fame.

He is an amazing person, a loving father, a caring husband, and an adorable son. People like him are hard to find. He is the face of our school. Every student should try and inculcate some of the values he owns. We are proud to have an alumnus like him who is doing something in favour of the society. Such a selfless service is hard to witness.

Every student has his own talent, qualities and interests. It is not necessary to be a topper in academics but to excel in whatever you do. Not everyone can be a doctor or an engineer, some are dancers, singers, travellers, and chefs. There are ‘n’ number of professions in today’s world. It is just that you need to choose the area of your interest and not what others compel you to do. This is what Mr. Venkat did. His love for kids and academics made him an amazing teacher, his love for animals made him their saviour and his love for humanity helped him reform the society. One should always do what he wants to and not what he is forced to. This is the mantra of a successful person.

The smaller particles like clay, sand, lint, and other materials settle at the bottom of the tank.  At this point in the treatment process, the liquid wastewater contains many harmful pollutants. These pollutants are hazardous when humans or the environment comes in contact with them.

In the secondary process of sewage treatment, the contaminated liquid wastewater is let to pass through an aeration tank or trickling filter. After the secondary treatment process is completed, the liquid part of the sewage is free from heavy metals and pathogens.

The liquid wastewater still contains high concentrations of minerals like phosphate and nitrate, that can stimulate the growth of plants and algae in natural habitats and can kill the inhabiting aquatic organisms. The final tertiary treatment removes these minerals from the liquid wastewater.

Short Welcome Speech for Seminar

Greetings to one and all. It gives me immense warmth and great pleasure to grace all of your presence in the interest of the entire committee. It gives me tremendous contentment to be presenting the welcome speech amongst the most esteemed personalities who have won accolades in their respective fields.

Before we begin this seminar, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you who sincerely committed to this event to make it a success. This event would have been impossible without the support of each and everyone present here.

Seminars are organized and conducted for the general audience to gain insight and information that would remain effective in their life, exercises, and work. Each topic for discussion and debate for today’s seminar was chosen, keeping in mind the interest of youth.

The last seminar was based on “Accent Improvement” which was graced with positive feedbacks from students, migrants, etc.

The topic of discussion for today’s seminar is Personal development. Personal Development is an investment that helps to improve our knowledge and attitude towards life. Personal Development helps an individual to build one’s skills, sets goals, work on the approach, believe in their potential, and improve awareness.

Through this seminar, an individual is given a platform to identify their vulnerable spots, gain understanding, focus on essential aspects, improve their leadership quality, attitude, and confidence, and provide practical communication skills as well as the frequent changes needed in their lifestyles.

The schedule of the seminar includes encouragement, discussions, and debate by the esteemed delegates.
